Philosophy
Saint Mary School Pre-Kindergarten strives to create a Christian environment of trust where the children can grow emotionally, intellectually, socially and physically. Saint Mary School is a learning place, a place to experience oneself in a relationship to others and to the environment.
It is a place of wonder that provides the opportunity to question, explore, succeed and to celebrate. We hope to provide a sharing environment based on the premise that each child has a unique gift to share..the
gift of self.
Developmental Program
The schedule on the opposite page gives an idea of a typical day in Pre-K. Changes do occur, especially when there is a visitor coming to the class. A monthly Pre-K newsletter keeps you updated as to what is happening for the month.
Children learn through play and actual doing. We try to provide fun-to-do activities that encourage creative thinking, problem solving, the development of positive self-image and social skills.
