The Development Office of Saint Mary School is proud that for over fifty years our school has remained a vibrant presence within Newington’s spiritual and academic community. Our goal is to promote the wonderful programs we have and the outstanding job we have done instilling a sense of moral purpose and Catholic commitment to our students. Our alumni have gone on to lead fulfilling and productive lives thanks to the firm foundations they received here at Saint Mary School.

Annual Appeal

The Annual Fund of Saint Mary School is our largest fundraising initiative. Monies raised through the Annual Fund have a direct impact on the daily lives of our students. Its continued growth is vital to sustaining the highest quality academic, athletic and artistic programs for our students.

Matching Gifts

You may not be aware of it, but it's possible that the company for which you work has a matching gift program. Many large corporations and several smaller companies support these programs, which either match contributions dollar-for-dollar or at a set percentage of your paid gift. To find out if your company participates in a matching gift program check with your human resources department.
The easiest and lowest-cost way to make a deferred gift to Saint Mary School is to make a planned gift. This may be done via a provision in a will or trust; naming Saint Mary School as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy, pension, profit-sharing, IRA or 401(k) plan; establishing a Charitable Gift Annuity or Charitable Remainder Trust. These gifts ensure the school's strength and academic excellence for years to come.

Scholarships of Hope

This type of giving can be the most rewarding of all. Gifts may be made to this program to ensure that financial aid is available to families in need. The Scholarships of Hope program allows alumni, parents and friends to honor an individual or a family while helping students in financial need by funding an endowed scholarship or an annual scholarship.
